Welcome to the home of the Yukon Bluegrass Music Society and the 6th Annual Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival. The festival was held  13-15 June 2008  in the village of Haines Junction -160 kilometers (100 miles) west of Whitehorse on the Alaska Highway. Haines Junction is nestled at the foot of the spectacular St. Elias Mountains and Kluane National Park. This spectacular setting is known for putting people in a grand mood with its splendid blend of mountains, midnight sun, and top bluegrass music..

We presented some of the best bluegrass bands in the business including: Daughters of Bluegrass, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, NewFound Road, Cadillac Sky, Hungry Hill, Outlaw Social, and Annie Lou.  Click on the Performers' page above to see the entire 2008 lineup.
