Marc Ladouceur: Intermediate Guitar
Marc has been teaching at our camp since it began. This year he will be instructing intermediate guitar. He currently plays guitar and mandolin with the bluegrass sensation, “Down to the Wood”. His musical travels have taken him through many styles, including bluegrass, Celtic, blues, rock 'n' roll, and folk music. Over time, he has performed and recorded on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, 5-string banjo, tenor banjo, and bass. He has played at many bluegrass and folk festivals across North America, and taught at some great camps, including Camp He Ho Ha, for the Northern Bluegrass Circle Music Society out of Edmonton, and FAMI June camp, around Bragg Creek. He fully endorses making music fun, while keeping a focus on strong fundamentals and necessary basic techniques to increase proficiency and further the enjoyment of making music. |
